ತಿರುನಲ್ಲಾರ್ ಹೋಗುವ ಮೊದಲು ಅರ್ಹ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷರಿಂದ ಜನ್ಮಕುಂಡಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಗ್ರಹ ದೋಷ ಗುರುತಿಸಿ. ಶನಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ದೇವತೆ. ಇತರ ಗ್ರಹ ದೋಷ ಇದ್ದರೆ ನವಗ್ರಹ ಸರ್ಕಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲು ಯಾವ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಎಂದು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ.

ಯಾತ್ರೆಗೆ 19 ದಿನ ಮೊದಲು ಶನಿ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ
19 ದಿನ ಪ್ರತಿ ಶನಿವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಶನಿ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಅಥವಾ "ಓಂ ಶನೈಶ್ಚರಾಯ ನಮಃ" 108 ಬಾರಿ ಜಪಿಸಿ. ಶನಿ ಸಾಧನೆ ಭಾವನಾ ತೀವ್ರತೆಗಿಂತ ನಿರಂತರತೆಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಹತ್ವ ಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ.

ಶನಿವಾರ ಶನಿ ಹೋರಾ ಸಮಯ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ
ತಿರುನಲ್ಲಾರ್ ಶನಿವಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ (ಶನಿಯ ದಿನ), ವಿಶೇಷತಃ ಶನಿ ಹೋರಾ (ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯ ಸುಮಾರು 1 ಗಂಟೆ ನಂತರ) ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶಕ್ತಿಶಾಲಿ. ಹೋರಾ ಮೊದಲೇ ಬಂದು ಅದು ಆರಂಭವಾಗುವಾಗ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿ.

19 ರ ಗುಣಾಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಳ್ಳೆಣ್ಣೆ ದೀಪ ಹಚ್ಚಿ
ತಿರುನಲ್ಲಾರ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶನಿಗೆ ಎಳ್ಳೆಣ್ಣೆ ದೀಪ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಚರಣೆ. 19, 38 ಅಥವಾ 108 ದೀಪ ಹಚ್ಚಿ. ದೇವಾಲಯ ಅಂಗಡಿಯಿಂದ ಖರೀದಿಸಿ. ಪ್ರತಿ ದೀಪ ಹಚ್ಚುವಾಗ ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧತೆ, ತಾಳ್ಮೆ, ಕರ್ಮ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಕೋರಿ.

ನಳ ತೀರ್ಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನ
ನಳ ತೀರ್ಥ (ಶನಿ ಶಾಪದಿಂದ ನಳ ರಾಜ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಮುಕ್ತನಾದ ಕೊಳ) ಮುಖ್ಯ ಪೂಜೆ ಮೊದಲು ಆಚರಣಾ ಸ್ನಾನ ಅಗತ್ಯ. ನಳ ಪುರಾಣ ಈ ಕೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಶನಿ-ಬಾಧೆ ನಿವಾರಣಾ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ.

ಕಪ್ಪು ಎಳ್ಳು ಪ್ರಸಾದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ
ದೇವಾಲಯ ಕಪ್ಪು ಎಳ್ಳು (ನುವ್ವುಲು) ಪ್ರಸಾದ ವಿತರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ದೇವಾಲಯ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲೇ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ. ಕಪ್ಪು ಎಳ್ಳು ಶನಿಯ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಧಾನ್ಯ.

ಶನಿ ಚಕ್ರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಶನಿವಾರ ಉಪವಾಸ ಸಾಧನೆ
ಸಾಡೇಸಾಟಿ ಅಥವಾ ಕಂಟಕ ಶನಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ: ಶನಿವಾರ ಉಪವಾಸ (ಸೂರ್ಯಾಸ್ತ ನಂತರ ಆಹಾರ), ಶನಿ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಜಪ, ಎಳ್ಳೆಣ್ಣೆ ದೀಪ — ಶನಿ ಗೋಚಾರ ಮುಗಿಯುವ ತನಕ.
